Biography

SOAR was started by Jamie Graham and Darren Toms in November 2006.

its first release was in January 2007 for US act DISKREET. SOAR created a reputation quickly for being a springboard label, catapulting their artists to bigger labels for future releases. Notable projects include the discovery of bands such as WHITECHAPEL, THE RED SHORE, ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY, INGESTED and many more.

Who we are-

Darren Toms has enjoyed a long and respected career in Marketing and Press and is the Press and Promotion force behind SOAR. He has over 12 years experience within the Music Industry and an extensive background in Marketing and Promotion for some of the world\'s leading labels/distributors in the genre.

Jamie Graham handles A&R, Label Management and Production for SOAR. Starting out in product management, A&R and marketing at a reknowned UK indie label, he then worked for a leading music publication as Head of Marketing and sponsored events before branching out into artist management.

SOAR is built of a small team of people, and we have an indie ethic to our label structure. Both founding partners enjoyed careers as musicians before the labels beginnings, so SOAR will always work with the development and creative freedom of the artist in mind.
